Field Farm: A lifelong companion or a human touch to the depths of mathematics and physics. A companion which recalls and reconnects intuition across the topics in mathematics and physics. Simply put, it tells the story of what’s happening – talks through the theory :). Mostly a personal effort to consolidate things. The emphasis is again on the story, not proofs of all the facts! Every communicator has their own voice - in aspects of rigor, human touch, art, creativity and what not. Through this I am finding (farming) mine :).
Throughout the five years of my undergraduation, I’ve had many scholarly temptations to exposite many beautiful tiny concepts that came across. But there was a lack of time, for even exploring and understanding the syllabus was quite a challenge, for reasons related to curriculum, teaching and personal interests.
Now, during this break year, I want to write articles, and even expositories on different concepts in math and physics. Right now I am in a Core Math reading phase until December. And as usual, many tiny topics come up and capturing them with words feels just nice. It’s mostly a personal effort to recall, remember and communicate the intuition and abstract beauty. I belive it will help me in future too when I perhaps land a TAship or even a research position!
After december Physics Core reading will start, and so will the attempts to consoliate physics with mathematics.
Articles being released right now are very elementary, but neverthless give a strong introduction to the funamental ideas in mathematics. So I am sharpening my curisoity and writing skills, mostly experimenting and keeping it raw and putting in more reps. Hopefully when the time comes to the more advanced topics in math and physics, I get better at it :).
There are many, many topics that I have in mind to write about. And within an year these should roll out one by one. I won’t list the topic names here though. I will wait for the time to come. For now, basic analysis and algebra articles should keep coming weekly.
