Consistency and perturbations

Sticking to the februarry master’s deadline. Want to get to my pre-surgery consistency. Started working in a more organized way today - basically alternating study sessions and a 10 minute walk reset.

It’s good. I finished the chapter on Quotients and homomorphismm i.e.e 3.1 Dummit and Foote. Done is better than perfect, so I am sticking to first 20 problems (if there are more than 30). I will probably do around 10 if there are 20 in total… Yeah, it is hard not to do more problems, because the later problems are usually VERY REWARDING in connecting the content ahead and back! But isoke, The understanding that I already get from the concept sections, examples and half of the exxercises is enough for first reading I guess. Atleast it will make me progress faster and I can then revisit them to solve more, it can be a good revision too. But mainly, it will give me a confidence that there is progress happing. Sooner I finish the readings sooner I can join a system and work formally!

Of course, the difficulty is in doing the pracitical things for me. It’s just so simple, I shouldn’t be working this much, like stubbornly sticking to solve those 40 problems is obviouslty going to cost me time and I will keep stretching the deadlines. I just attach myself to math and let math enter my skin too much… So it’s hard for me break that and go ahead.

But isoke, done is better than perfect, and I will try to do the sane things. Less goo.
